Polcom was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Skawina, Malopolskie, Poland, near Krakow. The company launched its first data center in Skawina in 2010, followed by a twin facility in Alwernia five years later. The platform offers 190,000 CUDA cores for high-density power computing with pay-per-use billing. The service is 100 percent located in Poland and the EU, ensuring full control over data flow and compliance with GDPR. The company is investing 100 million Polish zloty by 2026 to build two new data centers with a total capacity of 44 megawatts.

The company is privately held and operates as one of the largest Polish data center operators and cloud service providers for businesses. Polcom generates approximately 90 million Polish zloty in revenue with projected growth of 21 percent. Polcom AI as a Service is a fully managed generative artificial intelligence service compatible with the OpenAI API standard, enabling organizations to immediately start AI projects without building their own infrastructure. Polcom employs approximately 65 people.

Polcom has been active in the IT market for over 30 years, consistently developing IT outsourcing services including cloud computing and data centers for business clients. In 2024, Polcom launched Polcom AI Cloud, a new service platform dedicated to companies processing large amounts of data and requiring advanced computing systems for AI and machine learning projects. Polcom serves demanding industries including finance, e-commerce, manufacturing, and the public sector. Leadership is headed by CEO Marcin Gwozdz with Wieslaw Wilk serving as Vice President and CTO.
