About Document360

Document360 is an AI-powered knowledge base platform founded in December 2017 by Saravana Kumar operating as a subsidiary of Kovai.co a multi-product bootstrapped SaaS company. The platform offers AI-powered search and content generation via Eddy AI markdown and WYSIWYG editors version control workflow automation advanced analytics SSO and SOC 2 compliance ticket deflection and multi-language support. The parent company Kovai.co announced a Rs 220 crore investment in its Coimbatore development centre in December 2025 for product innovation and AI capabilities.

Headquartered in London UK with major development and operations centers in Coimbatore and Chennai India Document360 also maintains a presence in Plano Texas for North American operations. In October 2024 Document360 acquired Floik a Bengaluru-based SaaS company to add interactive demo and video guide capabilities. The product crossed 10 million dollars in annual recurring revenue in December 2025 entirely through bootstrapping without venture capital and is targeting 25 million dollars ARR by 2028.

The platform was born from a real-world pain point experienced by the founder during a 2017 conference when existing documentation tools proved inadequate. Developed initially through a two-week hackathon Document360 officially launched in June 2018 and has since grown to serve over 2500 customers worldwide including McDonald's VMware Virgin Red the NHS Monday.com Gong and Harvard University. Document360 primarily serves SaaS IT services financial services healthcare and education sectors supporting organizations from startups to Fortune 100 enterprises.
